When it opens for you, each qualifying search is paid from a prepaid balance.”

With no person owner named, anyone with a valid phone or email counts.”
What the skip tracing page says is billed“Only pay for skip traces that return information.” “No minimum purchases.”“Rows that share one search are charged once if any owner on them qualifies, not once per row.” Not charged: “results reused from the last 30 days.”

3. How to read the two price rules

PropStream’s skip tracing page ties the no-extra-charge search to a plan and to saved properties. Its pricing page still lists per-contact add-on rates, and those rates are not the same on every plan: 12 cents on the Essentials add-on, 10 cents as additional skip tracing on Pro and Elite. Locate Next publishes one rule on the pricing page: $0.17 when the qualifying-search definition on that page is met. The two numbers are different units. One is a plan plus a per-contact add-on. The other is a per-search charge. This page does not convert one into the other.

A flag is information about a number. It does not decide what contact is allowed. The federal rule and the safe harbor are in DNC scrubbing. What a private litigator list is, and what it is not, is covered in litigator scrubs.

4. What each company’s pages describe

PropStream’s pages describe property data, saved properties, monthly plans and skip tracing inside that account. Locate Next’s pages describe a list you upload, a review of which person matched the owner, state filings for company owners, and a maximum cost shown first. Read LLC owner lookup for the filing step. State filings name people a company listed. They do not prove who owns or controls the company.

5. A test on owners you already confirmed

Pick owners you have already confirmed in county records. Save and trace them in PropStream, and run the same rows in Locate Next. Write down which person each result tied to the owner, what each company’s stated rule would charge, and whether your record ID is still on the export. See what a skip trace match proves.
